River Past Video Slice is a powerful video editing and conversion tool. You can load up a video file (supports all popular video formats) and slice it into how many segment you want to.

You need to select the start and end time than proceed to selecting the output file options. First, you need to select the output file type: AVI (DV, Divx, Xvid), DV, MKV, OGM, WMV; then, you have to choose the video compressor, resolution, framerate, quality; the next step - audio settings - choose audio compressor, sample rate, channels, bitrate, etc., and there you go. The splitting/conversion process is fast and provides a quality output.

Pluses: You can preview the video files in the inbuilt player and take capture frames and save them as BMP or JPG image file format.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: A very fast, reliable, easy to use video editing and conversion utility. Very good!
